Story:
After receiving the memories of his future self after being shot by Ranger Slayer with a shard of the Green Chaos Crystal, Tommy would go on to warn Zordon of Lord Drakkon's coming as well as his own death at the hands of the mad tyrant Ranger. To combat this, Zordon and Alpha 5, after recruiting the aid of Ninjor worked tirelessly in the coming months on a plan to stop Lord Drakkon. Together the 3 adapted the five coins of the Fallen Rangers of Eltiar and created a 6th, infusing and converting their energies to that of The White Light and creating a shielding to protect the Rangers connection to the Morphing Grid With only days to spare, Zordon sent the Rangers to the furthest galaxy of the know universe, where The Deserted Planet resided.

Seeing this Rita sent Goldar and a squad of Putties to stop the rangers while sending Scorpina as well as one of Finster's monsters and another squad of Putties to attack Earth in the Rangers absence. Ninjor fought valiantly and was nearly defeated until the Rangers returned from The Deserted Planet with The Sword of Light. When the Rangers asked about who Ninjor was and why they were sent to The Deserted Planet to retrieve The Sword of Light in the first place Zordon explained his intentions. Using Ninjor's Magic, Zordon's Energy and The Sword of Light the rangers were infused with both the powers of The White Light coins as well as that of the Ninjetti. With these new powers came new weapons and two additional sets of Zords,

Both Rita and Drakkon were caught by surprise with this development, In order to bring down the Rangers, Drakkon stepped into their universe killed Rita and seized direct control of her Palace, sending Goldar, Scorpina, Black Dragon, his Ranger Troopers and an army of Putties and Finster's best Monsters. But the new, stronger Thunder Rangers with aid from Ninjor were far too great, with all of Drakkon's forces being killed or in the case of his Ranger Troopers, depowered and Drakkon himself was captured and sealed away .For a time peace returned to Earth. But Lord Zedd would shatter that peace with his early arrival with Rito Revolto, Rita's brother.

Lord Zedd then ordered Finster to create clay models of Goldar, Scorpina and {a younger and prettier} Rita. {sta.sh/0137m30trhei but with OG Rita's grating voice.} After presenting his work to the Dark Lord, Zedd then used his magic on the sculptures to resurrect Rita, Goldar and Scorpina. Entering into an unholy marriage with Rita, Lord Zedd would pursue a war against the Rangers, with them eventually finding a third set of Zords. This war would last until the coming of the Machine Empire, when a second team of Rangers empowered by the Zeo Crystal were chosen to aid the veteran team.

So as you see these are Zyuranger and Dairanger suits hybridized with some Lord Drakkon thrown in for flavoring. Originally I had the chests the same as the Zyuranger ones with the Dairanger trimmings around the arms and the strip up the center. But I was inspired by the Ranger Slayer design to swap the colors of the suits and the diamond patterns as well as add a strip down the middle. The biggest pain in the butt was the helmets. Judging what goes where and how to modify them and bring it all together, Billy and Zack were the worst with second going to Kimberley. Tommy was based off an existing Lord Drakkon micro so a color swap was very straight forward with some added tweaks. Jason was also straightforward since Tyrannoranger and Ryuuranger go together fairly well. Trini was in the middle, and I added a skirt to her from Kim since in Gokaiger and Super Megaforce any male suit on a female ranger on a team where the girls had skirts would be given a skirt when used by a female ranger.
