Wand of Gamelon and Faces of Evil probably have the highest potential imo. The basis is there somewhat, just make it one big open world reimagining the level designs, adding in a full 3D enviroment would work wonders with being able to space things out. The locales in both games have a good deal of variety to them that reworking them would make for some pretty fun areas to explore. As for the characters, giving them designs that don't look like Captain Pronin crossed with a bootleg episode of Ed, Edd, n' Eddy with a cleaned up script and I'd say you'd have a game that decently captures the charm of a standard Zelda game.
Zelda's Adventure tho, when you get down to it, is really just a role reversal of the first Zelda game. The world feels like it has less interesting landmarks as the first two CD-I games. Same for the characters, there's plenty of bad voice acting and wtf moments, but it just doesn't hit that level of memorable (or Meme-able in this case) as the likes of The King, Morshu, Gownam, and other CD-I characters have had.
