I too ignore comments like that. The reason why it was brought entirely to my attention was due to journal.
He is the first to apologize for slander that I've seen. He didn't like it that his fave characters were being slashed and thought about taking it as a crusade without realizing what he was up against. Then realized it after being hit by yaoi girls and actually apologized.
I've thought about a yaoi defense force here a few months back when another yaoi artist was attacked. People that knew her plus others that know the people that know her rallied to her aid. It was unreal. But after thinking about the idea for a while I didn't want to cause a flame war of untold agony. I personally ignore people that come a-trollin'.
I think an army can be raised in no time from what I've seen here. Just tell your friends, then your friends tell theirs and so forth. Its one thing yaoi fans have dealt with a lot is yaoi hate spammers.
