Description
The Urbatorian Guard (commonly referred to as Silent Sentinels) is an elite branch of the Zradian army whose members serve as personal bodyguards to the reigning Duke/Duchess as well as the Elder Dragon Council. In the Early Days, the Urbatorians were a token force of city guardsmen who volunteered to escort high-ranking noble lords, political officials, and regional governors. When noble lord Bertrannus was crowned the first Grand Duke following the failed human rebellion, the Elder Dragon Council repurposed the Guard as a personal security detail for the Duke as well as for themselves. The Guard was internationally renowned - and feared - for their unbreakable loyalty and for the unnerving fact that they never spoke a word, earning them the nickname of Silent Sentinels.
