Description
Whenever I get my music stuff back up, I'm theming it all to the Cattanooga Cats. Simple characters that play in a band suits my purposes perfectly, plus they get bonus points for being from the South. I didn't like the shows, but I did like the theme song. I changed the design a little. I guess they weren't cute enough for me.(c) Hannah Barbera

Far better than the actual design they had, Kitty especially since her face was basically just a blob with cat features. It would be nice to see them cameo in any related Cartoon-Network/Warner related media. Sadly that probably won't be the case since they only had 13 episodes. Lol

Someone used to have the original lp version of the theme song on Youtube. It sounded a lot better and it wasn't sped up like on the tv show. Sadly the account got terminated. Lame.

I just started watching these guys on Boomerang. The theme song is pretty darn catchy.

I think you did a wonderful job with this version of the Cattanooga Cats. This rendition of the Cats does them well for this day and age.

damn, they oughta do a new, updated version of the Cattanooga Cats.......maybe with the progeny of Country & Kitty Jo(not hard to imagine them multiplying/being fruitful-wouldn't have minded Kitty Jo at all!!)...maybe Groove hooked up with Chessie(remember, the autograph hound?)....man, it's great to know there are a number of folks who still remember and dig this sadly underappreciated show....yeah, i'm 46!!!!!.....the only qualm i had with the show at the time(and still do)is that i thought that Kitty Jo deserved more professional dignity than being singer/glorified go-go dancer(although she knew how to shake that cute little tail!!)....hey guys, she does play piano/keyboards, y'know!!.......thanx again for bringing them back to life(sniff)

Cattanooga Cats! Omigod, does this take ME back!!! I was a kid when they first came on TV back in the day...the day BEFORE cable OR satelitte, that is! When TV was free, and you got it by way of antennea. LOL Guess I just dropped a hint on how old I am here. Geez, but these guys were some of my faves from the now-defunt HB.

I've watched a lot of Cattanooga Cats in early seventies!! They had so psychedelic and groovy design, totally out of regular Hanna-Barbera style!

For some reason, the girl cat reminds me of Daphne from Scooby Doo. I think it is the red hair, and purple/green outfit thing. Cute pic.
