Sonic's biggest threat is his own fandom.I dug up an old fan character from out of the 90s named Ax for the main hog. He didn't do much, except show up in this here comic strip slightly modified and mocking his own existance, that is, fandom in general. Cheers, snitches.

But my FCs are original and I try to avoid already used animals like hedgehogs, and use peococks, sugar gliders, etc.
I don't pair up FC x OC, I like FC x FC. I hate FC x OC, makes no sense and will never occur.
I don't even write them as much nor ever put it in the Sonic story lines. I like sticking with regular real characters. Matter of fact, I never really engaged in them.

They call her that because:
His number one leading interest is Amy. Believe it or not.
She was the first cannon Sonic girl.
She was to replace Madonna. Sonic's scrapped girlfriend.
Basically, he is inferring that FCs usually pair themselves with Sonic characters, making them OoC, and hate the other character paired with them. Usually, they prey on SonAmy.
Like, male FC with Amy, (as shown in varies of ways. Lovable, dominate, crazy-in-love, or the most popular, perverted 'love.) and hate Sonic. Vice versa.

My fan character,Bliss, Actully does not like sonic veary mutch and she just plain hates Shadow. She's good friends with Silver. BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She does not want to join any of the current teams and currently isn't in any team but one thing for sure... NEVER EVER leave her out in the woods or she'l find you and you won't hear for a week. Bliss is a wolf.

Ha! Ha! Ha! that's so true in the Sonic fan base. And that's hilarious, most sonic fans make fan characters to make them related or date canon characters in the series, and also their fan characters are over powered. this comic makes sense of Sonic fan characters.

i do find this terribly funny because I've seen dozens of comics that do precisely that although in my own fanfic i try to be careful to avoid falling into typical cliches or if i do i try to present them in a different or unexpected way,Β
in sonic rebornΒ angelamyrose.deviantart.com/gaβ¦Β for example the main characters are still mostly cannon and although it dose have a fair amount of fan charecters in it those characters generally exist to add depth to the story rather than to detract for the cannon characters (as far as butchering the story line goes this is an alternate universe comic so it doesn't exactly follow any one particular sonic cannon to the letter) in the end for me it's not about replacing the characters i love with copy cats but simple telling a good story and adding depth to those characters we already know and love

This is the reason any time I do create characters for a pre-existing series, they either never even meet the main cast and have a story all their own, or I've very careful about how the interactions go if they /do/ ever meet them. Β More often then not, if my characters meet the main cast, they act more as supportive roles, or play a part in a story that gets the main cast tied into the story. When I'm a big fan of a series, part of that includes being very respectful of the roles the characters were made for. Β Β You can make a character too that is meant to be a rival, but if you do it right, it won't seem cheesy, but will make a good story instead. Β This often means that you also have to work out the way your rival character will actually be defeated, and you can't simply make them 'oh so powerful even sonic doesn't stand a chance' or they lose credibility.
And when I saw this 'Ax' character....the humor stuff he is doing here totally gave me flashbacks too Dead Pool and Marvel's Slapstick! Β Man I miss Slapstick....this is the kind of goofy, cartoony BS he'd pull XD

Fan Characters are cool! But, Recolors are abominations. It's just Art Theft and even if you draw a Recolor from scratch it would look like a Green,Dark/light blue,pink Sonic's!
