Description
This is a redo of the face tiles I made for that game thing I was working on. I got a script to work that lets me use full-size busts instead of a little square. I tested it out and it looks great! I love it when stuff works! Any decent little 2D RPG game has full size head busts, at least all the cool anime' ones do. It makes it less boring to look at and makes the important characters stand out a lot more. Anyway, this is just one of the characters. I included a profile I've been sketching out for him. It is The Matrix! Because I really miss The Matrix Online, but the story of it needs some rewriting, so I'm doing just that.AGENT CARSON:
Agent Carson is the Agent program charged with protecting and watching over the Ninth Neo Fragment which is embedded in the RSI of the Ninth "Self-Awakened" (Player). There are calculated to be many dangers like hostile, rogue exile programs and defective Zion operatives who might be working to capture the Ninth Neo Fragment. So The Machines formulated that it was best to appoint an Agent program to the fragment's defense and well-being. Zion was understandably wary of this at first. But eventually their High Council agreed to the terms, for the most part. Agent Carson is a part of a newly created line of Agent programs (that also includes Agent Pace) that where created after the events of the Smith Viral infection. These new Agents have a slightly lower hostility quotient, improved anti-virus resistance, and are a little more adept at interfacing with humans than other Agents been in the past (in theory anyway). Agent Carson's alterior motive for being assigned this task is to keep a monitor on the doings of Zion and it's Operatives. He is also there to try and "improve relations" with Zion and The Machines to keep The Truce steady. Although many of Zion's Operatives find it hard to trust him, he does act as a steady negotiating point if need be.
At first Agent Carson resented his main assignment. He would rather be hunting rogue exiles or operatives and eliminating them than watching over a mere human. But as he gets to know his charge better, he seems to foster a strong friendship. Agent Carson and the Zion operative and companion to the person with the ninth Neo Fragment, Backslash however are a different story. They always seem to be at odds with one another. At first Backslash abhorred at the very idea of an Agent being appointed to their party. But over time the two of them seem to grow a mutual respect for each other. Backslash never seems to miss an opportunity to take a verbal jab or pester Agent Carson though. Most of the time Agent Carson seems to simply shrug it off with expected machine-like apathy ... to a point. It seems like Backslash is always determined to see just how far Agent Carson's patience or tolerance of him will stretch. And sometimes that can be like a persistent and pesky mouse always pulling at an angry lion's tail.
