Description
A wallpaper dedicated to the Tenth Doctor, with a quote from the first trailer of the third series.I have a clear preference for the Doctor's brown suit, the one with stripes. His blue suit is interesting for the dark red tie and Converses, but too common. As I was working with shadows only, I chose to represent the brown suit because the stripes could help to figure where the pants starts and where the coat ends.
This costume was a really wise choice, classic yet modern, that made him look like some kind of adventurous intellectual. A "geek chic" Doctor, an awesome costume that fitted David Tennant really well.
Finaly, the most remarkable aspect of the 10th Doctor is... the hair ! David Tennant's crazy and awesome hairs, so symbolic of his incarnation.
I'm gonna miss him next year.

Yeah, kinda tough. I had to use the stripes so it gives an impression of volume. I'm still not satisfied with the result, but, heck, i'm not a pro, this is the better i can do. It would have been better if i had made a 3D model, but i don't know how to do that.

This is lovely! You've captured everything that makes DT the doctor, right down to the glasses!
And oh my, that hair! His ruffle never ceases to make me obscenely happy... Which probably sounds strangely bizarre in itself.
I must agree with you about the brown suit, there's just something about it that completely trumps his blue.

Yep, DT was one hell of a Doctor ! (not gone yet, i shouldn't use past tense). Indeed, his hair is quite amazing. I found some pictures of girls touching his hairs in conventions and such, so i cna tell you, you're not the only one to fancy his hairs

As for DT's successor, Matt Smith, well, he's looking promising so far. It'll be interesting to see how well he's able to take on the role. Youngest doctor yet, though!
