MINOR SPOILERS(From Chapter 1: The Courtesy Call of Portal 2)
Though Evil!Wheatley is fun, felt like drawing something a little lighter this time. Plus, after drawing that frankenturret pony, I just had to draw another turret pony! They're so cute!
I noticed Chell's legs were a bit stubby after my initial sketch. I decided not to change it though because the staging was already so nice. I also hadn't planned to put any debris in there, but I ended up sketching some cubes and it just kinda grew. There's two Weighted Storage Cubes, one Redirection Cube, one wheeled office chair, a can of beans, and a mug.
I was gonna make Wheatley's cutie mark something like a brain with an X over it, but I doodled a little core and it came out so nice I couldn't bring myself to change it.

Wait...this was in Chapter 1, after you go into the passage in the wall that Wheatley opens up after he detaches from the rail. Sorry, I just wanted to point that out.

You know, I just realized that it's the title you gave to the deviation that threw you off. *SPOILERS* The "oracle" turret DOES show up during that escape sequence, as you run down the conveyor belt. You can choose to save it as it goes by and thus get an achievement and hear its ramblings and prophecies. *END SPOILERS* While Wheatley is with you during that part in general, he isn't in that particular room.

i have heard things, but i'm not so much a Chelley fan. Reading The Punishment hurts me in ways i don't understand. but i've only heard good things about that fic, so maybe i'll check it out!

It's not very Chelley heavy, just the flashback in chapter 8 is Chelley. It's more about their friendship and rebuilding trust which may or may not evolve into romance. It's also completely SFW, so there's that. It's about so much more than just little shippy stuff even though there's good shippy bits in it. I would definitely give it a try because it is written much like a good novel, not a fan fic.
