How did you get the shading to look so good? Cause whenever I try to shade things it looks like trash.

i practiced alot, i looked at other artist who were better at shading then me and tried to look for the differences that made theirs look better. I wouldn't call your shading trash, its actually preety good, especially your Nao Tomori piece, i think it looks really nice. I understand if you're not satisfied from your own point of view but don't look down on it! everyone has room for improvement and thats ok. Experiment with your art and try new things(shading darker/lighter then usual, smudging, hatching..etc) and of course be patient and confident in yourself, i believe you can get the improvement you're looking for
