Description
this one is one of my personal favorites of tattoo concepts. i had a very hard time trying to get the wolf's heads to match, took several tries to get it right, and busted my ass with the pencil compass. the runes don't say anything in particular; it's just the Ancient Nordic Alphabet, "Elder Futhark," and the last four runes (left from top-middle) are Anglo-Saxon...Related content

You are aware that there's a lot of people who have this on their skin, right? Does that count as art theft too? What about the fact that I also have this very same thing as a pendant for a necklace? I drew this when I was like 14, so don't jump to conclusions and automatically think that I'm stealing this when you don't even know the full story. I'm not denying that it's not my original piece, things travel around on the Internet, especially when it's been around for quite some time. Don't be retarded...

One of my favorite parables is of the two wolves. I have been considering some new ink and wondered if you were making this available for those wishing to get it inked, with a slight change, namely not including the runes and instead using part of the parable www.hikinghumanitarian.com/wp-… . Below is the story:
An old Cherokee chief was teaching his grandson about life...
"A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy.
"It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.
"One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, self-doubt, and ego.
"The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.
"This same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather,
"Which wolf will win?"
The old chief simply replied,
"The one you feed."

Yeah... No. Sorry, I'm not currently up for making this available for tattoos. Also, I'm very familiar with that story thanks to the Internet and my Aunt Janice.

Oh! I see what you mean now, at first I thought you were saying I should redo this and make it into an actual navigational compass. lol This is actually one of the only drawing I've worked on that I used a pencil compass with. Otherwise, I think they suck... lol

Well, that would certainly be interesting! And don't be hard on yourself. Compasses are hard, and your drawing is good stuff!

Looks like it. You said you used a pencil compass. I'm rubbish with those. I just spin a pencil around a CD or something handy to get the right shape. Or a pot-lid. Whatever.

Too bad you can't mint these into coins. It looks like something from Game of Thrones: Winterfell.

That's fair. I wanted to have a nightrobe made with my Wikingkreuz logo, but that would've cost something like $50usd. Couldn't do it.

In truth though, when I manage to scrounge up enough money I think I'm going to design a T-shirt. Preferably one with Anne Frank doing a line of coke off Joseph Stalin's chest while sporting a massive erection, and Hitler in the background masturbating furiously while hanging himself and wearing lingerie... That would make an awesome T-shirt.

It'd certainly make a statement. For its inauguration I recommend you wear it to your local Westboro Baptist Church. While having all the exits memorised, of course, so you can make a quick getaway. Or maybe hanging out with the Geehoevuh's Witnesses would be safer. And perhaps more entertaining in that they used to be such dubious folks.

Luckily I don't have to deal with those WBC bastards, if I did I would probably be in jail for Assault With a Deadly Weapon, and/or Attempted Murder. lol I am STRONGLY against bigotry. Fuck those guys, somebody should just burn their church to the ground... or vandalize the crap out of it, if burning it down isn't an option. Now those Jehovah Witnesses on the other hand... I might have some fun with that one. Especially if they're knocking at my door!

There's a companies that make jewelry for people if the design a ring of amulet I bet they could mint a coin out of aluminum. You give them the drawing they make a wax mold for 75 dollars and then they price the material metals and quantity but I think that would be a great gift for someone or just epic in it's own right as a pendent. You could also make the coin out of a hardwood with a wood burning kit. [link]

thanks, i had a lot of fun doing that one, it took me a long time to get the wolf's head to match the other, the runes don't exactly say anything though, they're just the alphabet, the last four left from the top are Anglo-Saxon and the rest are Elder Futhark Norse, i originally intended for only the norse runes to be in it but when i fini had this big gap in it so i looked up some runes that were simalar but different and put them on there to fill it in...
