i really like the design of this character, i think it woulda been better if he was one of the main villains in the series, and it also is my favorite DBZ movie, btw im cofused on when this happened, was it while boo or after boo, or it has nothing to do with it?????????Related content

Manga > Anime > Movies > Fanon
Manga trumps everything - if it couldn't happen in the manga, it likely didn't. Likewise as you go down the ladder (if something happens in the Anime OR the Manga that defeats a plot point in a movie, then it is the Anime/Manga that is treated as 'true')
While I liked Janemba, there was really no way to make him into an overarching villain. Think about the other villains: Frieza was overconfident in his own power, and liked toying or tormenting his foe. While Frieza could survive grievous wounds, he had no real regenerative powers, and wounds took their toll. Frieza also had another major motive, one that is often forgotten: A destroyed planet yields no profit.
Next up we have Cell. Cell was a bit of an odd one - if he was outclassed, he was just as likely to flee and build his strength as he was to go into a futile rage and start swinging aimlessly. That said, when he himself outclassed his opponents, he was more than willing to keep them alive (like with Krillin and Vegeta). He also had an ambition to prove himself, which made 'blowing up the earth' only feasible after he had proven he was 'perfect'. Cell is also the first villain to have ridiculous regenerative properties.
With the Buus, the problems with high power levels start to become evident. The childlike 'Fat Buu' had little motivation to do anything destructive without Babidi's influence, and he liked sweets. Thus, while perfectly capable of destroying the planet, he chose not to. Skipping over Evil Buu, Super Buu (before he absorbed anyone) was much different. What motivated him was some odd, primal instinct. He too wanted to prove himself, and you could reason with him if he was in a good mood. As he absorbed people he took on other characteristics, and was determined to absorb pretty much everyone who hadn't died from his "Human Extinction Attack".
Then there is Kid Buu, second only to Janemba. Kid Buu didn't 'last' very long as a main villain. The reason for this is obvious: Kid Buu was literally motivated only by destruction through any means. Kid Buu didn't care how he killed everyone, he only cared that they died. This sets up a scenario in which the heroes cannot reason with the villain, do not possess anything he wants, cannot insult his pride, cannot appeal to his emotions, and cannot outgun the villain. They can't even train or hide, as Kid Buu would just blow up everything and re-materialize.
With Janemba, multiply this by a factor of about a million. We have a being that is essentially a god who can alter - not distort, ALTER - reality with his will. Oh, and his motivation is "the chaotic and evil desires of every being who died in the past 10,000 years or so". So reasoning, pleading, and the like aren't really options. Sure, cussing at him stuns him, but other than that he is without a weakness. Even Hirudagarn had a clearer motive than this guy!

Ugh, you make such good character observations, that I have to rethink on how Toriyama wanted to accomplish the storylines overall now >.<
I originally hated Buu (it didn't matter whom, all forms of Buu are OP and a terrible taste in character concept) but this actually makes sense in how you played it out. I just wish it didn't take up so much time for DBZ fans to watch through all the different evolution periods that Buu had because of how lame a character concept he had (he's a living piece of bubble gum with more OP regen and limitless energy powers than Cell ever had)
I liked Janemba's "Super" form the best. He wasn't a giant blubber butt kangaroo version of Fat Buu.
Seriously, he looks retarded, and I was thoroughly enjoying every moment Goku beat the living crap out of him.
But when he turned into his Super Form, the one depicted above, he looked awesome. Not only could he put up
good martial art prowess to the level a SS3 could dish out, his alteration of Space/Time made for some interesting methods in overcoming the lack of fighting superiority, as well as the Buu-like modifications to his body he's been seen using. I find it hilarious how a supposed lesser form of Fusion, the Fusion Dance that birthed Gogeta, was able to kill this guy under a minute, whereas the Potara Earrings Fusion that birthed Vegito was incapable of beating Super Buu. Kinda irks me they didn't do the Fusion Dance after they lost the first Fusion x.X
But I digress, your analysis for the goals of each major villain DBZ is spot-on. Thank you for giving some redeeming quality to these villains despite how some of them were flawed through bad or prolonged storytelling XD

well maybe it wouldnt for too much for a story as a villain, since he has no real reason to do what he does, but he just looks so badass xD, and he was pretty smart even thou he didnt really speak, if he had survived a little longer i think he could have proposed a goal for himself, maybe without real motive but a plan in the end xD

the movie was supposed to happen after Buu but Akira changed the story, you see Gohan was suposed to beat Buu so that is why they are in Heaven

i like this art although i don't like janemba because he was a very limited character.
i wish i could see some art of Zarbon and Dodoria in this art form; they are my most favorite characters in the series overall.

Great job on this, Janemba was awesome. And the game Buu's Fury puts it at, I believe, after Goku returns to the afterlife after his 24 hour limit in the real world is up.
