Team Love is the best I love callie and marina they're the best (not bashing on marie and pearl though! they're great too!)Should i do more splatfest themed renders? This one was fun so, maybe comment what splatfest you want me to do next.

If Nintendo's willing to repeat themes then I'd like to see that undersea theme from Japan make a debut in the States, even if it doesn't have the promotion attached it was still very fitting for Splatoon.

If I recall correctly, Marina has this dreadfully lopsided victory percentage in Japan. Not quite so true for her in the other regions, though.
Japan also had a Squid vs Octopus Splatfest back in the first game. That time it was in the context of "Which one is tastier" but with the Octo Expansion due to release it'd be a great idea to bring that back again. And with not so squicky implications.

Ooh, that'd be a good idea! But at the same time maybe not because in the case of inklings vs. octolings, I feel the dialogue wouldn't be exactly nice.

Actually, the not "exactly nice" dialogue would make it perfect for the penultimate Splatfest! The "leader" of the winning team rubs their victory a little too hard in the losing "leader's" face and this prompts a Pearl vs Marina Splatfest! So it won't be after the Octo Expansion but it would still make for a neat idea, right?
