Description
This Pixel ID thing is getting quite popular, and I could do with an updated ID of myself.Took a while with all the details, but had fun with it.
First time doing full character pixel work like this.

A) AWESOME DevID. I don't know how pixel art works, or I'd try one, but I digress, I'm more interested in the character's design....
Assuming that Tidal Night is, in fact, a tiger, Our fursonas are remarkably similar.
....The shade of blue used for her hair is even the same. o_o Yours is probably older, as far as creation date, But I thought it was pretty much awesome.

About character design, I'm not so sure how similar things are, provided that hair colour is only one elemnent of a character.
Hopefully the 'her' you refer to is your character as far as gender is concerned, not my character lol.

Thanks, yep used the tablet for the original sketch, but majority of the coloring and such was done with the mouse.

Those are designed off the Soul Symbols that I made long ago for my char. They were all drawn by hand.

Did you draw this and then trace over it with the pencil tool or did you do the whole thing with pencil?
After looking at yours, I really want to make my own now. xD!

Yep, drew it and then traced over it, although yes - resizing will bust up the quality of the pixel sprite - so you'll have to resize your sketch before tracing over it with the pencil tool.

Fantastic! I'm currently working on my own right now. I got dragged in, I couldn't resist. Though it is making me remember why I stopped doing pixel art. XD But I really like this one. So shiney, and I love the book. Especially the pages. Very nice!

Love the big book idea and the oldschool-game-scroll-emboss-appearance-thing on your background pic. I don't know why but scanlines always made me think of scrolls.

Thanks - it takes a few moments and some fiddling around to get used to that pixel work, but over an hour or so you start to get comfortable using it.
