I'm siding more with Shantae but if at least two of these characters got into the game I'd be happy.

Nobody does. It's speculated there's gonna be only one more due to the spacing of the roster lineup and the listings shown on the website but this isn't much to go by considering these things can always be patched to different shapes and sizes. I'm guessing 2 or 3 maximum myself.

Yeah I always saw him turning out like a heavy donkey Kong clone and they probably don't wanna be making people pay for clones like that. I think we'd all sooner see all new characters. Although I will still say there needs to be more villains on the roster. Maybe he'll be a default newcomer in smash 5 whenever it arrives.

I could see that happening. I wanna see more 3rd party chars myself. Imagine the console wars playing out in Smash. Mario VS Sonic VS Crash Bandicoot. Now THAT'd be cool.

Crash Bandicoot would be amazing but there isn't a chance in hell it could happen considering Crash has been on one Nintendo game in his lifetime. Not to mention Naughty Dog are neglecting their mascot for sub-par over hyped gameplay-less drivel like The Last of Us. I wanna see some indie characters myself like the two you see in the pic here lul.

I was more meaning Crash has very little significance in terms of Nintendo. Only appearing on a single Nintendo game in the past makes him a weird choice. He would be more at home on playstation all stars which I'm surprised he wasn't in.

Well he was one of the 3 console rivals. Nintendo, Sega, and Sony were big rivals when the PS1 was around.

Difference is that Sega migrated to Nintendo after the Dreamcast flopped. Crash just kinda faded out into obscurity during the early PS3 days.
