Description Since you guys seem to like my art...
I doodled a troll!John today.

btw this isn't the only way to draw him, if you guys were wondering...like "oh man! The author drew him, time to draw him only like that!!" that doesn't work...cuz I switch how I draw him a lot. And those wings aren't 100% how they look in the story or all the time in my head.

Yup!
I personally think troll horn shape is influenced by their symbol.
SoΒ  when John got turned into a troll in my story, they symbol he had been assigned at that point in his life was his godtier one. So his horns were shaped like that.

I write him as a blue blood because I match their eye color/text color.
So if I were to do all the kids as trolls Jade would be a green blood, rose a sea-dweller highblood, Dave the equivalent of Karkat, and John is a land-dweller highblood with blue.
Hope that makes some sort of sense, at least to why I do it.

Rose as a Highblood I get.
Jade as an Olive blood, well, no other way to go with that one.
John as a Cerulean blood, I can also get.
