I meant to ask you, just how hard is it to get started doing pixel art? And what program do I really need. I have PS 7 and PS CS4 but I've read somewhere that I needed some other program, can't think of which it was right now! ><

Actually, I drew the Chocobo, only on a very small canvas ^^
I do have PS7, too, and use it a lot.
You've probably installed ImageReady as well then
(Because the "old" Photoshop-versions came with it and it's integrated in the new CS-ones [Window -> Animation (as I read)].)
I use PS7 for the drawing / pixelling and then switch to ImageReady for the animation (there's a button in PS that automatically opens the document in IR).
There are many good clubs on pixelArt, e.g. =Emotication and *pixel-artists

Although I never thought of trying to make a Chocobo! Hmmm, I wonder who hard it would be? I'll have to give it a try, no guarantees on how it'll come out! lol
Yep, I installed it. But I was under the impression that one couldn't really make pixel art with the program to make emotes and such, will have to learn that as well.
I found the first club soon after I left you the comments a few days ago, the second one I didn't know, thank you! I'm waiting to hear from Emotication, I asked them if I could still join even if I didn't know about the art form. I'm sure I can, seems like a good group.
