First of all, I like the color scheme, I was always a fan of green-cyan-blue. Composition is really interesting, and I feel rather drawn in the picture, as if playing the Myst series. Kudos to ~dilekt and yourself, as this piece goes to my desktop wallpaper >_>

Mal wieder eines dieser Bilder wo man es kaum glauben kann, dass es wirklich "nur" ein Terragen Bild war.
Was hier natΓΌrlich stark und als erstes auffΓ€llt ist dieser "Mal-Effekt". Die von dir zugefΓΌgten Sachen sehen sehr nΓ€ch GemΓ€lde aus, was sich wie ich persΓΆnlich finde etwas mit dem Realismus des Terragen Bildes beiΓt, aber trotzdem eine interessante Kombination muss ich doch zugestehen.
Was sehr schΓΆn gelungen ist, finde ich, ist die Beachtung des Lichtest. Die Schatten und erhellten Stellen sind wirklich gut geworden.
Mir gefΓ€llt es, da es mal etwas anderes ist, aber wie gesagt nur GemΓ€lde oder wie die alten realistischen Bilder wΓ€re vielleicht die bessere LΓΆsung gewesen.

I was looking @ the terragen render and then back to the concept and i noticed that the terragen render had so much depth and the concept a lot less to almost none. It is a very good image and you did a great job on it but maybe you could work on sense of depth some more in the future. Just an idea

Nice job but those clouds in the upper left are poor in comparison to the rest. They look like you abandoned them right at the start - some are just one stroke lines.

that's the difference between a fully worked out piece and a concept. the concept should only show the impression of a scene without investing too much time into the creation. i must admit that i invested much more time into it than i had planned.
