one thing though...since the light source is coming from behind the buildings..wouldnt that mean that they are dark on the size we're viewing?

well thisp ic is heavilyyy manipulated. the terragen part is actually hard to recognize here since lots of parts got painted over for the fog and buildings and other additions. still the tg pic was a nice base to work on.

thought that looked like your style when I saw the pack released. The manips have the same feel as those in The Wall Nice job on the buildings and varying yet following the color scheme, I like this one a lot

is it really sooo easy to recognize my style? that's interesting since you're by far not the only person that told me that. aside from the wall everything in here was painted. 'the wall' was actually more a super complex mega heavy picture manip work than everything else. so yeah since i wanna explore the depths of digital scenery paintings you'll see more of that more of that from me from now on. i almost finished my first print size painting and wanna release it within the next few days and i'm very excited about the feedback.

Haha yeah, it's pretty easy to recognize your style...not that it's necessarily a bad thing to be easily recognizable Check out the buildings in The Wall, and A New Hope, and compare them to these...they're all quite futuristic (that part might be influenced by the subject matter) clean lines, flares of light, texturing etc. There's definitely simlarities...

Good luck with your foray into digital painting! You tend to hold yourself to a high standard of detail work, so I bet the sheer fact that you're posting it means it'll be fairly impressive. I'll make sure to swing by and comment on that one too
