ooo that hurts my eyes. heh. i think its the way the lines on the shell differ from the lines of whatever the other thing is.
but that is a cool shot. personally though i think that you should have put it more lower down so that its a 2 thirds of the way down to make it more interesting. i mean its interesting already, the way you chose to shoot portrait when a normal person would have shot a shell landscape. but i don't think central was so good.
otherwise i love the shot, and i'm making it a

I love the texture of the basket, or whatever the shell is on! It's looking really good against the shell, because they're so similar but only going in different directions. The textures of the two elements, I mean.

Was dem ganzen einen interessanten Pfiff verleiht ist die Richtungen in die die Linien der Muschel und des Möbelstückes verlaufen.

This is a wonderfully creative shot that drew my eye in the minute I saw it. I love the simplicity of it all and how well the lines work with the monotone choice you've made. There's probably not much I can say that hasn't already been said so I'll just leave off with a 'great job'.

Du könntest ne Mülltüte fotografieren.. es sähe trotzdem genial aus! Wie machst du das nur immer? Die Linien der Muschel die sich so gegen den Untergrund abheben... einfach genial!

Mir gefällt, wie das licht auf der muschel ein highlight gibt, und den hintergrund recht regelmäßig lässt, so dass der blick gelenkt wird...
obwohl, als poster oder hintergrund wäre mir eine ruhigere zusammenstellung auch lieber. aber es ging dir ja mehr drum, mit dem kontrast zu spielen, oder?
