I started this one shortly after I finished reading 'Hyperion Cantos' by Dan Simmons. Easily some of the best scifi you will ever read. So, go... get it and read it if you haven't! I decided to try myself on a scene from the book (and there are so many good ones).

Beautiful work! And, yeah- Hyperion Cantos. So good >.< Hyperion is right there with Dune as my favorite sci-fi series. Great to see it get a DD.

Quite interesting. It matches quite closely how I imagined Keep Chronos too. I've read the Hyperion books several times becuse they are among the best of Sci-Fi. I totally disagree with Jonas72 though about the Ilium books. Complete crap.

You should also try Dan Simmons' Ilium/Olympos books, almost as good as the Hyperion Cantos. If you haven't already, of course.
