When I first saw that celebratory drawing that Nintendo posted just hours before the Squid vs. Octopus Splatfest happened, I knew that I had to make this pic right away.

So yeah, I felt having Agent 4 (the one from the official artwork) think about the words that Marie say to Agent 4/the player as soon you revisit Octo Canyon after beating Octavio and I thought of 4 realize that no matter how hard or big the next challenge will be, the path of the hero will NEVER be a lonely one not just for her, but for her friends as well. Granted, Agent 3 had to fight an entire army of octopi led by Octavio at Octo Valley, Agent 4 had to do the same thing at Octo Canyon and Agent 8 had to fight Sanitized Octarians and Tartar at Deepsea Metro, but despite those three having to do all of the handy work alone, they were always being contacted by their allies and that itself is enough to remind me (and you, of course~ XD) that the path they walk is not a lonely one.
