I haven't played sonic games that much and thought it appeared for first time in Heroes...

Espio was in the early Chaotix game for the Sega Genesis 32X I think. I haven't played it before either.

I believe Espio was infinate times cooler PRE his 'Ninja' transformation. Now he acts/sounds too much like Shadow sometimes. x_X;;

Although the old Espio's personality was not as developped (because of lack of storyline), at least he somehow looks less...clichΓ©d than the newer one.

I completely agree! They could have worked more on that, and kept his previous appearance. We don't need a Ninja Chameleon to make a Chameleon character cool.
