I tried to acutally do a background for once...I know most of my Sonic pics will never happen for real, but that's what fanart is for, right? ^^
My usual favorite combination is here: Tails and Amy.
I added Charmy because he can rock too.
And this time, Cream is the damsel in distress (and Cheese the helpless mascot).Imagine... if Sonic used up all the positive energy of the Chaos Emeralds and all's left is the negative energy...
Inspiration song for this deviation: Mighty Obstacle (Ys VI: Ark of Napishtim). It's an egyptian-style boss battle song with crazy guitar rifts and all.

i think the song "Ephermeral Dream" from Soul Calibur 3 fits this well, it's got a good boss theme...but it's a sad boss theme, 'cos they don't wanna fight but knux is being forced to.

It looks like Tails and Amy and Charmy are all stepping through/of a time/space warp thing with lotsa wind.
It's wistfully cool and makes you feel like you're looking thru a window into an alternate idea.

Excellent! You know, it's odd that so few people draw the concept of Knuckles turning evil. I don't understand how this would have happened to Knuckles, but it looks great. And to whoever said it, Knuckles does not have a weak soul!

This picture is great, because it seems like something that could actually happen. I like the fact that Tails, Amy, and Charmy are randomly paired together to save Cream and Cheese. I can feel the movement in the picture, and the coloring is nice too. If Sonic, Shadow and Rouge were there, you would have all of my favorite characters.
