Description
I've decided to upload the sixth chapter of my TMNT fan manga here.This is the title page. Donatello's central character this time around... it was about time I focused a little bit on the poor guy. Until now, it was always Raph and Mikey.
I'll put up the pages of the chapter later.

It seems the cursed sword takes all the bad personality traits a person has, and magnifies them so they become dominant traits?
Leonardo became obsessed with being the perfect ninja, and therefore he looks down on his brothers for being failures in his eyes.
He also blames them for having to be the responsible one.
Raphael became an aggressive depressed drunk, angry with the world and full of self hate.
Michelangelo wasn't directly influenced by the sword because he never touched it, but became a pessimistic individual after his traumatic experience.
And Donatello became even more reclusive and detached from everyone, his mad scientist persona running rampant and under constant influence of the curse.
He also exhibits a seemingly hidden trait of violence through the sword.
And his hidden feelings for April having turned into an unhealthy obsession.
Donatello was always the Turtle who's personality I felt was the most hidden.
He always was an introverted geek, soft spoken and shy.
Inventing stuff was actually his way of escaping reality, which he maybe hated even more then Raphael because of his secret romantic feelings for April.
He's still my favourite character and I feel that he's the most complex out of all of his brothers.
Because I feel that he's the most "sensitive" one, he's also the most influenced by the cursed sword.

Every time I see this Donatello, I keep thinking of Albedo and his music from Xenosaga.

I still can't believe he tried to kill her in this chapter. Still, in MNT Gaiden Donnie is a whack-job...

I have an idea that involes Donatello in that pose, Renoir, and Master Splinter can I use them as long as I give you credit for it? ^_^;

so far, im loving this searies
but this chapter ... i didnt like it very much, it showed such a negative side to don that i have never seen before
you know when you see something, and then you wish you could unsee it but know you never will?
thats what happend to me when i read this chapter, Donatello using her as a sheald, and almost bashing her head in with a metle pipe while she was unconshious ... that was just ... almost stoped reading i was so scared ...
im glad you didnt have him ... yea ... i was very scared, but im glad that don isnt that heartless ...
just one question though, why is he constantly trying to get a sample of Renors blood?

Okay I'd really like some more pages of this story!
I'm pretty interested to know who'd turn a random high school kid into a mutant and it'd be great to see how everybody pulls things back together.

I really love the name of the chapter, really seems poetic and how it fits in at the end of the chapter when Donny slightly snaps (I love when characters loose it slightly, or all together. I love the Joker after all

Looks like the first thing seriously focused on Donny since "Same As It Never Was" I never and I repeat never watched that episode actually I saw the last part when April says there's always hope then Don-san dissapears. I also read the episode guide for it oh and yeah I loved that chapter although parts of it made Donny look whackola.(I got that word from somewhere...I forgot)

yooo...I love your characterization of Donatello; it's the most vivid story of him since "Same as it never Was" (from the new series)...or maybe I just don't know Donny as much as the rest. But your version is so cold, so crazy, cool and calculated yet very, very human....I can't wait to see more of him

the picture says it all, Donny is so gonna love his chapter, we need more Carol cuteness, though. are they gonna cross pathes again, or was that just a twist in the plot? either way, love the chapter

Adding more Carole? I'll do that much later, but I constantly fear that she 'might' overshadow the old TMNT (Raph, Mikey, etc.). If that happens, MNT Gaiden would no longer be much of a tribute to the TMNT. It's all about balancing the whole thing... so I guess, that I'd better not leave my original characters aside either. They're probably the only original elements to my story so I shouldn't neglect them either.
They're gonna cross path again. Don't worry. ^_^
