Description
This is my first Pokémon related artwork in a while.
I feel all fuzzy inside because I used to be a hardcore Pokémaniac back in the era of Red-Blue-Yellow-Gold on GB.

Back then, I tried doing a Pokémon fan comic, but stopped after 20 pages or so because I lacked motivation and was too busy with high school.

The premise is a world where Pokémons and humans live side to side, no longer as masters and pocket monsters. They can also have normal jobs and work alongside humans, with wages.
In a distant past, Pokémons all united and waged war against humans for their own independence and place in society. The war ended in a tie, but all Pokéballs were destroyed in the process and their technology was forever lost.
In the present, there are Pokémon supremacists as well as human supremacists. Because of those two groups, there is constantly tension between humans and Pokémons in several locations of the Kanto region.

The story starts in Pallet Town (where else!), one of the few towns where Pokémons and humans live in perfect harmony.
A young boy and his Machop pal save what seems to be a baby Mew from wild Pokémons and decide to travel to Celadon City to have it checked by professionals.
Along the way, they meet friends and foes, notably a Team Rocket made only of evil Pokémons. They also learn that the technology of Pokéballs is not completely lost...

The characters are:
-Josh (human boy) : Energetic, sporty and prankster. He's the worst student in his class, but he makes up for that with his sense of justice and adventurous spirit. Typical anime main character.
-Mach (Machop) : Normally, machops are passionate about learning martial arts. Mach redirects all that passion towards knowledge instead. He's the best student in his class. He has a lot of self-confidence, but has a phobia for evolution: he's afraid that evolving into a Machoke will turn him into a brainless jock.
-Mew (Mew): This mysterious baby Mew was saved by Josh and Mach in the outskirts of Pallet Town. Unlike all other Pokémons of this era, it cannot say anything but its name. However, it's as intelligent as everyone else. It quickly takes a liking to Josh and Mach and follows them everywhere. It loves eating sweet things.
-Joy (human girl): Joy is from the lineage of nurse Joy's. However, at some point, the tradition of the famous Joy family was not longer carried over to the next generation and the descendants of the Joy family branched out in other fields of work. Joy might seem spoiled and rebellious (to Josh's dismay), but deep inside her is a caring young girl who will never think twice to help the wounded. She's a typical tsundere.
-Chokey (Machoke): a professional wrestler. He is everything Mach doesn't want to be: brawn over brains, chain-smoking, sellout, a perfect fit for the stereotype of a Machoke. He's rude and picks on Mach all the time, but at the same time, he wants to act like a big bro to everyone in the group as it fills a void in his heart.
-Richar (Charmander): an engineer and part-time researcher about the technology of Pokéballs. Richar is constantly on coffee and is stressed out all the time. He lacks self-confidence in almost everything except his skills as an engineer.
-Pikau (Pikachu): a Pikachu barman who drinks almost as much liquor as he sells. He acts as his own bouncer in his bar and has scars to show it. He loves partying, loves pretty much everybody and loves them even more when he's drunk.
-Wortello (Wortortle) : A Wortortle who trains in martial arts to become a ninja. He uses a bo and wears a purple bandana. He never talks much because when he does, he always says extremely dorky lines. Apparently, his master is an old ratata.
