Remember the Shadow sketch I did long ago?I went back to it and added Tails to the mix.
Tails is apparently mad at Shadow... the rest is all interpretation.
Notice that there is "Live and Learn" written on the wall behind Shadow.

I imagine that Shadow involuntarily killed Sonic because that's the only thing I can think of to make Tails look so angry. This is something I really like about your art. None of the pictures have a direct story line. It's all up for interpretation so I can make up any story I like^^

Tails is pissed cause "someone" was trying to hurt his girl.
But maybe it wasn't Shadow this time. Maybe he was just framed. And since he attacked Cosmo once, then Tails beleive the framing and had the black hog caged for good.

I saw this work of yours a long time ago and only once, but I couldn't remeber how I had found it. It served as inspiration for one of my drawing.
Now I remembered, that there was Tails as well on the picture so I could find it with these keywords.
Hope I will find a way how to upload it (and maybe digitaly edit it).

Oh yeah, I can write a quick Scenario!!!

It had been exactly seven days since Sonic the hedgehog was reported missing. Shadow was taken into custody and charged guilty with murder. He somehow managed to escape but GUN trusted Tails, long time buddy of Sonic to hunt him down. After cornering and interrogating the bruised and battered hedgehog, Tails was getting fed up. Just as soon as he was about to punch Shadow in the face, the exhausted hedgehog got a dazed look on his face, slumped, and collapsed onto the asphalt. Later Tails took him to the police station and was awarded with the chili dog award.
