Literally. Promise to protect. Or to shield. Or in whatever other way you see it fit.
Once again, a reference to Shadow's rare quotes to Amy in Sonic Adventure 2. Once again, the works of my sick imagination, mixing violence and twisted illogical Sonic couples. XD
I don't like Shadow that much, but I find him more likeable if he was coupled with Amy. Amy rocks though. XD Long live girls with huge hammers!
I don't intend to color or enhance it in any way. The sketchy style here matches the crude aspect of this picture anyways.
I hope this doesn't look too much like MNT Gaiden Prologue... Heh.

I don't think Sonic Team would be interested in what other people do, quite frankly.
If Aoi (a famous japanese sonic artist) has not been called yet for the great things she does, then I don't see why I should too.
Anyways, Sonic Team has been quite generic in their games lately.
Gone are the times when I would see them as my gods (Sonic 2...!)

really good. and i like how you dont have blood dripping out of the quills on the back of his head. anyone who knows anything aobut hedghogs knows that the quills arent connected to any bloodvessles. although i think you could have done a little more with some of those quills. take for instance the quill on the bottomright corner of shadow's head. its nearly carved in twain. keep in mind that a hedgehog has hundreds of quills that make up its shape. those quills that are nearly severed should at least look like they are falling off his head. ah now i'm being nit picky. sorry about that but owning a hedgehog one tends to be picky about these tings.
