I got a sudden burst of inspiration as I listened to 'Yume de aru you ni' ('Like a Dream') which is the opening song for the japanese version of the RPG Tales of Destiny.I've always wondered... how many Charmy fans are there on the Internet. Not much, I presume. Mighty's always being forgotten and all, so being an underdog, he has his own fan base. Vector is huge and is cool because he has headphones. Espio is classy and is a ninja, so I'm pretty sure he has lots of fans.
What about Charmy? He's a bee (an insect) and I heard he's super childish in Sonic Heroes... He's also one of the characters who has suffered the most from Sonic Team's awkward adaptation of the Chaotix Team in Sonic Heroes, logically speaking. He was one of the eldest in Chaotix, yet, in Sonic Heroes, he is like, five or something. Ack.
So anyways, here's Charmy and Tails, running down a hill, searching for flowers.
Oh, have I ever mentioned how mandatory Tails is in my Sonic pics? Hehehe... I can leave him out if I wanted to, but whenever he seems to fit in the context, I include him without hesitation. ^_^

I'm a rather big fan of Charmy myself (although I love Vector and Epsio just as much too ^^) I actually can see him more as a little hyper kid than older like he was in the comics,besides he's just too adorable the way he is now! ^_^
I'm impressed with this pic,Tails and Charmy are really adorable running down the hill searching for flowers.Its Charmy's fav thing to do (since he is a bee ^^) Wonderful job!

I've always been a Charmy Bee fan...since the beginning of Chaotix. He and Mighty are two of my fave characters! Anyways your rendition of Tails has me jealous! I wish I could make him that cute!!

Well I think the lack of support for Charmy main;y comes from two things, his annoying persona from STC, and his extremely nails to the chalkboard voice from Heroes. Nothing wrong here, sometimes a bright cheery pic is all you need to express characters.

I agree with what you said about Charmy. I actually liked how he was in Sonic Heroes. He was really enthusiastic and perky. He made Team Chaotix more lively. =]
Very well done drawing. I really love your Sonic art style. It's like the official style, but with a big kick of your own style. It always looks nice in pictures, regardless of what kind. I like how you fit Tails into alot of your art, too, heh. I like the carefree and fun feeling to this picture. The lighting and color job turned out very pretty, and the little flower stands out nicely against the grass.
