the first day and assignment is hell. i love fighting back, but with this guy, he loves it even more. choose your words carefully and dont fall into his trap of making you "argue fully to him". trust me, this girl in the front of the crit board always didnt say anything and she like cried...for the half of the sem before her ovaries grew.

I'll make sure to keep that in mind, he doesn't sound like the most pleasant instructor to have my last semester. Is he a harsh grader? I don't mind getting nailed to the wall as long as I pass the class. Seeing as its the semester I'm suppose to graduate. So what assignments does the class entail, luckily I have a semester before hand to prepare for him. All they told me is its Drawing for Film, that ain't to specific.

drawing for film is a bigger class than visual dev (that one i took with the same teacher). in VizDev class for 13 weeks we drew thumbnails....FUCK!!!!!!
though his grading is rather simple, he simple gives you a grade above the one you deserve. its hard to please the guy since he is high up the ranks in Pixar. but seeing that you have really good color scripts he would be a bastard not to tell you that you did a good job, and it might land you a spot over there if he likes you color scripts enough.

You mean a grade lower then the one you deserve? So the class is mostly thumbnails and color scripts? Any character designing or layouts for the class?

i think for your class you get to do more than what we did, so you will have a full range of legitimized layouts for presentation.
