asked for an art request of his character David together with Layla Hamilton from Kaleido Star, to tell you the truth this is the first couples drawing I have ever done
I usually draw 1 character and its extremely rare that i draw male characters as well.

Anyway I did this with what little time I have to do any CG work so I worked on it here and there because work keeps me very busy.

For this picture I decided to put them both in the Romeo and Juliet outfit from the series I did both of the costumes to the best as i could do them. Laylas transparent cloth covering her legs was the hard part to do so I made one layer colored it and set the first layer to overlay then i just duplicated the second layer set the duplicate to Multiply with 36 percent opacity so that way you can see through the cloth to see her legs. I also tried to use some sparkle brushes on the transparent cloth from

For the background I decided to try something
I tried out some of kaleidoscope patterns to see what it would look like. So i just combined two of the patterns and set them to various transparent layer blends to see the result.

Well thats about it. Im going to do something original again just as soon as i can get a good idea of what im going to do next.
