I personally have a pillowfort. Haven't used it very much, but when the tumblr purge happened a lot of my friends and other fandom people I know all switched over to pillowfort and they love it!
There's also Dreamwidth and Inkbunny! I have accounts on both but tbh haven't really used them much, so I can't give detailed pros and cons on either, but just figured I'd list them as a potential option for others! Inkbunny is also geared toward furry artists and has a lot of adult content on it.
There's also somethin' called "Amino"
I only used it for a day, it was very confusing for me, but other people might be able to navigate it better than I could. I'm not even sure if Amino was geared towards artists, since I discovered it through the Marvel fandom, but there was artwork on it, so maybe

But there are young people on dA as well, not just adults, so maybe that is somethin' they may want to look into d:
