So I decided the cheetah guy I made up a while ago should be named Gerard! (Thanks to who suggested that!
)Once in awhile it's nice and relaxing to do a run or walk cycle, so here is one for Gerard. This is animated in ToonBoom, I only have the free version as you can probably tell from those huge watermarks
Spots are blinking because I couldn't be bothered to draw them on all the inbetweens.
Maybe I'll clean this up in photoshop one day.
(I wasn't allowed to upload this to Digital Art->Animation, which is why it is in the flash category allthough it was done in toonboom!)

A word of advice for animating Cheetahs, they have extremely flexible spines, and will arch them extremely high when running, and will bring their hind legs up high when running. They will also push their spine down, so their shoulders and hips are higher than their back at most given times. They also have extremely long strides.

Free was maybe the wrong word as it's only a trial version, but it lasts forever it seems like, I've had it for months now. It's not like other trials that only lasts for like 30 days or whatever! You get the watermarks though!

You're welcome! They have a bunch of video tutorials aswell, some more useful than others. I've used Toon Boom for work(the full version then, but don't have full version at home) a lot recently and it's a very fun program to work in when you get the hang of it
