Description
Learning autodesk Maya in class!I hate to admit, but it's actually a passable 3D software, it just has its massive faults
Painting textures now and maybe rigging next week

Texture painting... something I just learned in Blender.
Gonna hate relearning it in Maya next year.
Still this is a pretty rad model.

I'm still just painting it in external image software
I also unwrapped half of it in roadkill, even if Maya's UV tools are passable - just random as everything else in Maya >_> (ie. doing the same thing twice will not produce the same result)
Thanks! I designed him to have a lot of different shapes to have fun modelling.

Blender's UV tools are so simple, just mark some seams and unwrap. Presto mundo, done.
I used to paint externally, but since it has tablet pressure now, I do it internally.
And you make me want to do more character modelling, but I must stick to drawing for my assessments!

That's how roadkill does it too.
Sometimes I want a more specific unwrap but then I can always do manual work in my modelling software after.
I'll have to figure painting directly to 3D as well, but I kinda like the flat work too.
WHAT, you must always do everything, silly.

Blender can paint flat too in the UV image display too, and it recently got tablet pressure sensitivity too.
And nuu >.> Storyboarding is pretty full on with all the images I must draw, made annoying in that my drawing sucks.

Totally uncool.
I actually have never heard of the program you are using, but I want to try it.

Well, uncool in relation to the REAL Space Stallions [link]
It's a 3D software! It's very good for animating and rendering, in fact probably the industry standard in many places for special effects in film, but it's not amazing for modelling.
HI PEYTON!
