The more he talked, the wider Henri's smile became, finally splitting to show a bit of his lovely teeth. He nodded along, taking in every word and digesting it as it came along so he could respond in a timely fashion once he was done explaining. His hand rose, tapping his chin for a moment before gesturing out to the other alsian.

"As I understand it, you receive a letter from an unknown source. Following up, not unreasonable. You're questioned by this unknown man, confirm that magic was, indeed, learned. Not just rumored. Confirmed found." Henri took the final step forward, close to him now with a grin so pleasantly wide his dimples were deep. "You chose that point in your conversation to begin to be vague?"

Oh. No.

For a moment he was back in the wood, completely bare, while the grinning maw of the hell hound was inches from his face. Perfect teeth, groomed hair, and silky voice all aside- Henri had become the snarling beast in the young man's mind. He was trapped, fully exposed, and very, very sorry that he'd put himself in this position. Or opened his mouth. There was a reason Shula had-

"I....I...", he couldn't pry an excuse out of himself if he tried. There was none- there were reasons aplenty, but not a single excuse. He dropped his head in defeat.

Nothing super fancy, I wanted to do more practice doodles in Manga Studio and make an attempt at drawing Henri ( 's character).

Poor Dario just wanted a mentor- it didn't end well. Now he's in a world of trouble. He's a good boy. He's not the brightest of boys.
