Thought it was too good to be true. And NO, they're not safe. If a human body were to be treated like an avatar, there would be gallons of blood everywhere and constant life-threatening injuries. (I jumped an avi from a plane having forgotten to put a parachute on her. It was a 2000 meter freefall, at the end of which she landed on her feet, dropped to her butt, and right back up walking away as if nothing had happened)
Oh well, maybe someday we'll have a real tickling machine. Corona vaccine first, then let's turn our resources to a tickle machine
