more like a dubles suicide if he dosent get some of Ruby's MC plot armour. After allΒ jeanne d'arc was burned at the stake. While Thor (Nora) and Mulan (Ren) both diead Thor by poison from a massive world eating snake and Mulan by suicide from enemy capture that would rape her.

The main mulan story is that she lived a happy life in the end and the thor one has many other stories. Those two will probably live in the end.

... Honestly, Widowmaker actually seems like a good fit on Cinder's team; like Emerald and Mercury she has a sympathetic backstory but nevertheless hovers near the moral event horizon. She fills the currently empty role of long range gunner for the team. She even has a multimode weapon, of sorts. In short, far less out of place than you'd expect from a crossover..
