She likes tuna, but she has a humanoid form so she is a little more fond of cooked meals. She takes a ton of pleasure out of destroying pirate ships though.Β
If she's in this form for a long time she gets really hungry. She can eat a lot for her size xD Not so much on the blubber or fur, she has a very very thin layer of scales that help repell harpoons and propellors. Her fins clearly don't have that kind of protection though ^^Β

Does the upper torso fin have any kind of functional purpose?Β

Helps her swim. She powers through the water mostly with her forearms and upper body fins, since the tail is too thin to really get much power into any strokes. The fins on her tail are more for creating strong waves and undertows for attacking things in shallower water

She's very nearsighted. Swimming in dark or murky water she's pretty much blind aside from electroreceptionΒ

Well that's what near sighted implies. Things far from your face are blurry, up close are clear.Β
