Bio:

Nightmare (then known as Urchin), was born and raised in Tratool. From the time when he was very young, his parents knew he was going to be an actor. He'd play make pretend with his friends for hours and never break character, and when school plays came around he tried out for every part. Every. Part. He majored in theater and by the end of his schooling, he was already making it big and throwing himself into auditions for films. He made it into a few movies early in his career, between which he went into live theater. Between small time films and theater, Urchin started making a name for himself. The nickname picked up after his first big name movie, in which he played a character named Nightmare. Though this was more of a suspense movie than a horror movie, this hit marked the start of his career. Nightmare shot up in popularity and the stage name stuck. His typical genre for most of his career stuck with horror and action, though he did make a few appearances in other movies as smaller roles.

During his career, he met his best friends. Grey worked as a pyrotechnic (aka he blew shit up) for most of his movies and helped the shy actor to come out of his shell a little more in new environments. Although hell, you'd be surprised how different he is when there isn't a camera pointed at him. He's a confident actor, but a little tentative without a script. Nightmare met Ambulance through Grey, being that she was the explosive expert's girlfriend. The three hit it off and seemed like they only actually came to work to talk to each other. They helped Nightmare to hook up with his girlfriend at the time, Indigo. All was well as they worked on their newest movie. Then everything changed.

Nightmare had been working on a film with Grey, and was unaware that the pyrotechnic was running a few tests with the explosives for the scene as he practiced on the other side of some props and a part of the set. Neither was aware that the equipment had been damaged and when two wires crossed, the whole system malfunctioned and exploded. Both males were horribly injured in the process and the production of the movie came to a halt. Grey took a lot of fire damage, whereas Nightmare's was mostly from flying pieces of set and shrapnel. Half of his face was burned off along with the palm and lower arm of his right hand. Both were hospitalized for a very long time to recover. Indigo couldn't handle the horrible scarring that Nightmare had endured and left while the actor was still in the hospital. Grey couldn't even look at Nightmare, feeling that this was completely his fault. Thought he two haven't spoken in years, Nightmare doesn't blame Grey and still refers to him as his best friend. Ambulance still comes by to check on Nightmare and make sure he's doing okay on occasion.

But this event marked the halt in Nightmare's career. Suddenly he was the number one horror movie actor to have. His scars made him appear as the perfect monster, doing more for the camera than make-up could ever do. Though Nightmare was happy that he wasn't completely out of the job, he still frets the day that the species has seen enough of him on a horror screen and he's replaced. He feels like this is all he will be able to do for the rest of his life and that he doesn't have any other options if he's no longer hired for horror films.

He met his mate after a late night filming session, helping her to evade a stalker that had followed her from the club where she worked. He walked her to his home and turns out, she was actually a huge fan of his. Very flattering. She never faltered to see his face and insisted that he not cover it up with scarves or his jacket's hood. She helped build his confidence again. And they fell in love.
