SIDE NOTE!: Currently, Strelka hasn't received his stripes because they have yet to find the Echoing Caves. So if you ask to rp with him before I announce him getting his stripes (probably a story or a picture) then he will still have spots

Anatomy: Strelka is a VERY tall cat. He stands taller then most every cat he's met. Even if he is this tall, he is thin and built for speed and not bulk. (Although he has bulked up a bit with some training. He felt useless to be the only Chief that couldn't fight |D)
Strelka's jaw is broken, so his right bottom canine sticks out over his upper lip whenever his mouth is closed.
Strelka doesn't have black pupils. They're always dark green. (His eyes now have a white or pale blue haze over them since he's now completely blind)

Personality: (Jumpy)(Anti-Social)(Dedicated)(Closed)(Thoughtful)

(Jumpy)- Because of his sexuality and pale color pallet, the bigger Tyros would tease him. The scars were from when he was by himself, some brave Tyros would attack him. This has left him with a jumpy reflex whenever around new cats and is uncertain about most things.

(Anti-Social)- Because he was bullied as a cub, he tends to stick toward the edge of camp and doesn't like to socialize with the others unless invited over by a friend. Once that happens, this Emotion will be hidden by his Joking, quirky behavior.

(Dedicated)- Once this cat makes a friend, he would take a beating for their sake. Unfortunately, this will tend to happen even with cats he isn't close friends with. If a fight breaks out, we'll throw himself between the two cats in an attempt to break it up.

(Closed)- Because of his recent losses, Strelka has begun to close himself off to others, even his friends and family. He's quiet unless giving orders as Token, and will usually just sulk just outside of the village. He rarely opens up unless he truly trusts the cheetah in question.

(Thoughtful)- If you can manage to get past his previous traits, Strelka is a very caring cat. He can be pretty stoic, but that doesn't mean he's heartless. He cares for everyone in his Tribe and is especially protective of everyone close to his heart.

Gift: The Gift of Bird View (He can see things from a Bird's eye view)

Brief History:

Strelka was born a loner (not literally, like, socially). He never knew his father and his mother was deathly ill whilst she was expecting him. Because of this, his whole litter were born dead, with the exception of Strelka. And even then, he was a tiny thing with extreamly poor eyesight. The Healer thought he would go blind as he aged, but that hasn't happened yet and Strelka refuses to let it happen either. He's learned to use his nose to help him get around more than his eyes. But this wasn't easy. The older cubs could see he was different, running into den walls and such. With a new reason to live on, his mother fought the illness for as long as she could to watch him grow and take care of him, even if she was confined to the den.

As a Tyro, Strelka had a few friends, mostly the few cubs that were born around his time and welcomed him into their friend circle. Most of them were females, but he didn't respond to things like a normal male should. He wouldn't show off to them, and when they gossiped about a certain Token or Tyro who was strong and brave, he would join them in it. The female Tyros didn't mind it too much, but the males took notice and took action. They called him strange names that Strelka had never heard before and they hurt him. The physical wounds would heal, but the mental ones dug deep. And Strelka was alone again. About three moons into his Tyro-ship, Strelka's mother died.

As Strelka grieved, he refused to sleep in the den with the other Tyros. He slept outside, the weather a small factor that he ignored. He became more and more distracted during training to the point of where his Mentor gave up on him. This sunk him further inside. When he went on his Tyro quest for one moon, he vanished. The other Tyros didn't see him for that entire time and they thought that he had been killed. But upon their journey back home, Strelka followed them from a distance.

Upon becoming an Adult, Strelka was made a Messenger. Strelka likes being a Messenger and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Strelka still finds himself running into objects because of his failing eyesight, but when using his gift, his eyes are clear and he can see better then any other cat, even if it is from a Bird's Eye view.

Recently, Strelka's luck has forsaken him. First, he along with the Sunning Rock cat Walio, fought off a panther and Strelka was hurt. This only left minor scarring around his throat. But what really changed him was his unfortunate trip to Sunning Rock Territory. As the sun set, he found himself lost in the darkness and crossed the border, on accident of course. Blind in the blanket of night, Strelka fell into the Deep Cut. He was lucky enough to land on a ledge and not fall into the darkness to die. But upon landing on the ledge, he broke his jaw, fractured his left shoulder blade and broke several ribs. This now gives him a limp when walking, but he still runs as smoothly as any cheetah. Although the misshapen face will take some getting used to.

The past few moons have been especially hard on Strelka. Once Ari had gone missing, the illness had killed off most of the Tribe, including their previous Token. Strelka isn't usually one to jump to the occasion and be in the spot light, but something must have clicked inside of him when he took the place of Token. Since then, he's known many hardships, including loosing his mate as well as his vision. These have hardened Strelka and made him a harder cat to get to know, since he know starts pushing everyone away.

The journey through the tunnels only further suppressed Strelka as he believed to have lost his dear Uncle Kivuli and his adopted daughter, Matone. Askari had returned and taken control, so the Token was able to sulk without much notice. He had even managed to break his faith in the Keepers and lost the ability to use his gift. However upon exiting the tunnels, Strelka found Matone and the two were reunited.

During the battle with the coalitions, Strelka managed to step up again. He pushed his sorrows aside to protect his tribe mates. And to everyone's amazement, Kivuli showed up! He was alive! Feeling a rush of excitement, Strelka regained his gift. Good thing, he wasn't a very good fighter, especially if he was going to be stumbling over his paws. Tragically, in this battle, Crowded Water's precious leader, Askari, was defeated. Strelka was announced Chief and earned his respect for the title by defeating the coalition leader and winning the Tribes their new territory.

Matone "Even if she isn't actually related to me by blood, Matone is family. She was crushed when her mother died and needed someone to imprint on, and I'm truly honored she picked me as her Adopted father. I know kin isn't supposed to train kin, but I'm as tough on her as I would be to any tyro, even if I worry about her. And I'm sure she understands the difference between our training relationship, and our family bond. She's smart and wonderful, and I hope she just chooses the right path when the time comes." As the sun faded, the stars blinked as the souls in the sky slowly woke up and lit up the darkness. A silver claw lit up the grasses so they appeared to be glowing. A small grin crawled it's way up the cat's jaw as he closed his emerald eyes and took in the view from a second angle. A blue mark appeared out from under his golden spotted fur just behind his jaw and slowly began a soft glow.
