Вот уже и лето закончилось, а я все летние цветочки рисую...
Ну да, ну вот 
На этот раз - настурции, я нашла старые дачные фотки. Акварель на бумаге вышла очень нежной, так что пришлось сильно увеличить контрастность, поэтому все такое... ух! Зато красненькие цветочки, люблю красненькие цветочки

Well, summer is over but I'm still painting summer flowers
It's nasturtium or Indian cress from my summer cottage. I just love red color so I drew these flowers for the long winter nights

Самые классные из всех трех, мне кажется.) Первые две при сравнении с этими, на мой глаз, более условные/абстрактные - "изображение такого-то цветка", а здесь как живые.) А две предыдущие ты тоже глядя на фотографии рисовала?
И переход по цвету выглядит очень естественным, не как эксперимент, а как "так и надо".) И структура листьев под разным освещением клево "играет".

Два предыдущих рисунка - это по урокам, я писала. Купила книжку, как рисовать цветы, и по ней рисовала. А этот - по фотке, но весьма условно: я оттуда взяла только форму некоторых листьев и цветов, а композицию, освещение и цвет самих цветов (на фотке они вообще желтые) я уже сама придумывала. Я не люблю срисовывать один-в-один, скучно, но нужны рефы. Фотка - это такой вот реф
Еще у меня есть фотка с гладиолусом, вот тоже задумчиво на нее смотрю

yep, the flowers taste a little like spinach, with a bit of a peppery bite...and they are high in iron

Но да, что у акварели, что у пастели такие нежные переходы, что приходится выкручивать резкость, иначе муар на скане получается
