Thank you, I love to paint the foxes. The background is a mix of blues, spray a mist of water and sprinkle salt.

I actually went over it again with water on this one...You get an intriguing texture with the salt. It pulls color, though, so you have to make your color a bit stronger than you really want....and it only works when the paint is wet. It's a bit more obvious on the fox painting of mine titled Golden Eyes.

The golden eyes one is crazy ... it looks like puffy scattered clouds! Really makes me want to try and do some experimenting ..

Really, it's quite easy....just paint, water, sprinkle salt. My fifth graders did it today! You can experiment and if it's too much, soften with wome more water.
