Like a snowflake you slowly floated down.
In to a snowdrift to fall out of knowledge.
Under layers upon layers of frost.

One morning I found you just outside, at my windowsill,
So cold and frozen.
Pressed down, by the weight of our unseeing eyes.

You glisten like diamonds in the sunlight.
Thousand and thousand of voices sang your song.
And I took you in to my house, to warm your heart.

To fall out of knowledge is not as easy as you may think.
But maybe easier still?
Because who remembers the snow falling last year, my beloved?
