Description
Just a little contest entry for a contest that I'm entering. Meet my entry for Tekkin101's SternRitter contest, Sternritter "E", the eclipse!Todweg Verwusten
Stern Ritter "E" The Eclipse
Abilities:
Todweg's letter "E", The Eclipse, gives him the capability of manipulating the shadows, either letting himself become eclipsed by the shadows, causing himself to be invisible, or moving through them as if they were portals and pathways, being capable of shifting through this shadowy dimension at a much better pace than his fellow sternritters can.
However, it's his avatar summoning that's the most deadly weapon in his arsenal. Manipulating the shadows, he can summon a large, shade like being that assists him in combat. It cannot be destroyed given its properties, but it is attatched to Todweg in combat, so it's mobility is somewhat limited. Also, while it can move along with Todweg in the shadows, Todweg must be the first to exit the shadows, as the shade needs a being to "eclipse" over top of. However, one must not let their guard down just because of it's limited mobility. It is still quite a threat, with extendable limbs (given it's capability to manipulate shadows) and the ability to fire off huge arrow shaped blasts at it's opponents at a rapid rate.
Todweg is fairly capable at using the Blut Vene and Arterie abilities, enough to defend himself and have a solid offense.
Volstandig: "Shadow of God"
His volstandig gives him four wings that are pitch black in colour, and meld in with the shadows around him. These wings act as extensions of his soul and body, being capable of hiding in the shadows and then striking out from behind like blades.
Appearance: Todweg is an incredibly tall Sternritter, standing at 7 feet tall, with a solid build. He has a very defined face, with a jutting chin, high cheekbones, and a protruding brow. He has very heavy eyelids and bags under his eyes, giving his face a more serious and tired look. He has short blonde hair that is slicked back in a spiky fashion, and blue eyes. Todweg wears the typical quincy cloak and uniform, choosing to stick with the basics, although he has a large blue hankerchief tucked in at his chest underneath his uniform. One of the more distinguishable traits about him are his pointy elf like ears, which he has had since child birth.
Personality:
Todweg can be considered a teacher of sorts, as well as a mediator among the quincy, keeping them in line and making sure none get into trouble, or even worse, kill each other (they tend to have a tendency to do just that.)
As for his personality, while his expression and facial features often make him appear to be an incredibly strict and harsh taskmaster, he's actually quite the jolly person once you get to know him, being a peacemaker when the time needs to be. As a result, he's one of the more reasonable Sternritter, keeping track of everybody with a watchful eye, merely wanting there to be some peace and quiet among his fellow quincies. Of course, when the time calls for it, he'll be ready to fight for his majesty, and try his best to win against his opponents. But lately, he's been wondering if the shinigami are really cracked up to be the villains that the Vandenreich are labelling them to be.....

Nice Sternritter. His ability is cool, perhaps a bit overpowered. But there is something about his name, Todweg first of all isnt german(I could be Kubo German ,but it isnt real german). If you mean deathway or deadly way it would be more accurate to use Todesweg, and still then it isnt a real first name. The surname is also not a real one, and it would be more precise for someone who cant right the right version Verwüsten, to write Verwuesten.

Ah, thank you for the critique! I did not know that about the way to pronounce it, but I thank you for giving me the correct translation. I was a bit pressed for time, so I used Google Translate, which, as we all know, is kinda crap at stuff like this XD.
