Description The Kestrel Hunting Rifle is a Custom unique rifle, Owned by Timaman for when he feels like going outside and shooting anything from a Moose to a Communist. Built on a stripped down M14, it uses a PSO scope from a SVD Dragunov, Custom ironsights from an AK47 and his own craftsmanship, a custom trigger and guard, and an awesome Green Wood stock made from 100% real wood fresh from the tree and stained green. Classy and Custom, this is the perfect rifle for hunting and/or Riot control.

Firing the almighty and powerful 7.62x51 NATO round loaded into a horizontal tube internal magazine that runs beneath the firing barrel (similar to what you see on a Pump Action shotgun, accept concealed inside the framework), with a straight lift bolt that pulls upwards to open, then pushes down to close when cycling the round. Bullets are loaded in with the bolt up (front first), with a maximum of 6 bullets in the magazine, and a 7th bullet in the chamber.

Overall stats:
Velocity: 850m/s
Range: 800-1000m (when using optics)
Action: Straight lift Bolt
Cartridge: 7.62x51 NATO
Feed System: Manual loading via bolt, 6 rounds (+1 if you count the bullet in the chamber).

This was created in Pimp My Gun V0.7.0.5 and I used GIMP 2.6 to create the visual effects of the wood.

Please comment, rate, and watch.

Thanks!

PMG is not 3D art. Do not tag it as such.

Apologys, but if you could suggest a different category for it instead of just exercising your commands on a mere mortal, then it would be appreciated.

It properly belongs in scraps, however Digital art/drawings is acceptable too I guess.

3d is the ONLY area in the digital art section that has the category of weapons. And besides, I think that the shading and such on the item makes it look 3d, or at the very least 2.5D

It's 2D if you cannot visibly produce a 3rd Dimension. It would go under miscellaneous then.

It could not go under miscellaneous because all of the categories under miscellaneous are for different types of art; pop art, abstract etc. This fits into none of these.

...accept it isnt a technical drawing, technical drawings have measurements and notes and wireframes and such.

Not necessarily. A technical drawing is anything that is conveying a technical assessment of an object, via a profile shot, an isometric shot, or an orthographic projection (I'm going to school for this stuff ).

I would count it more as a Weapon than a Technical Drawing, so thats how it stays. And I'm really not in the mood to argue so we are going to agree to disagree on this.

Ok, so then there is no such thing as a technical drawing, because the illustration can only be classified as itself? That's some really polished logic.

I warned you dumbass. That was not a question in the last post. My art, my rules.
