and, in true Timatae fashion, I hand in my entry within hours of the deadline.

Terribly sorry to the poor who had to wait untill the very end of the event to get this, but my goodness dear, why on earth would you make a scorpion-taur?!
Birdtaurs are hard enough, my anatomy is fucked sideways with them, (thus hiding their back end in a tree.)

But nevertheless, it was suprisingly fun drawing Khair, hope I got all his details down okay!

Magpie had spent a good week observing Khair. Well, observing and sleeping, which was highly convenient seeing as the scorpion didn't do anything interesting anyway, and well, she would call it a week, anyone else would have said she flew over head to see what he was up to, in a totally non-stalker-ish way.

But anyway, we're getting off point.

Magpie decided, that in the cold winds of the winter months, no Taur should be without protection, and the simplest, (and probably best) idea Magpie could come up with was a scarf, plus she had seen one hanging outside a windowsill near the human side of the mountains.

You couldn't blame her for taking it, she was a magpie after all, its in their blood, and it was taken in good heart, she meant well, the poor dear.

Magpie lay in wait untill Khair scuttled past the tree she was hiding in, then with a sudden burst of energy she popped out from the branches and let the scarf tumble down to the scorpion.
