Description Something about the way this turned out, made me think of a plastic miniature forest.

I love it! It does look somewhat like a model or something.

It's because the focal length is so small. It looks like only a small portion in regards to foreground/background is in focus. Just like when you take a macro shot of something small. I saw a tutorial that used pictures of cities and made them look like a model of a city.

You mean the shallow depth of field because of the narrow aperture?

Or that.

whee what a pretty shot

To me it looks like a very scary forest, I mean...it's dark and god knows what's behind that bend

Hhhmmm. I rather like it. Don't know about the plastic part, it does look a little bit like a post card. The perfection of the scenery may make it look fakey.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. Any news? I'll probably be back in a couple of weeks to give you the rest of the photos. Would it be alright if I use your studio again? I need to cut some down to the correct size.

Of course you can use my space. Just remind me to bring home the paper cutter if you are going to need it. No - no news yet! I am so not good at being patient.
Cheers

Thanks.

I disagree, I think its one of your many virtues.

William Blake said β€œIt is an easy thing to talk of patience to the afflicted.”

I'll be thinking of you and your family.
