Although, the oil-cooler intake between the two turboshaft engines is a distinct Mil design (so I understand your Hind comment.) Someone definitely wanted an audience to go "that's Russian!" Most likely a movie prop, although really well done.

Looks very similar to Kamov Ka-50 Black Shark. Possibly a real helicopter with added parts for movie effects? Kamov is located in Russia and has been a prime innovator of co-axial (twin, counter-rotating) rotor systems since the 1950s.

I've seen a couple of 'mock' gunships similar to this in movies like Red Dawn and Rambo 3.
Could be a mock up for the new Red Dawn movie but it could also be a real upgrade for the aging Hind. Must look into this further.

Not a big fan of the twin main rotors, but that seems to be the direction that designers are heading.
It just seems to me that it is more for things to go wrong in combat.
