Well, in werewolves, isn't that intentional? Because they're supposed to be really powerful and broad-shouldered. I admit, though, it's really hard to draw something that doesn't exist, because everyone had varied opinions of what it should look like...

Yeah, but they should be able-bodied, not kinda lumbering around like they're drunk. They can be compared to human body builders. They may have very large upper bodies but they do have the lower body, mainly the legs to support them. In a werewolf, a long tail helps with balance, the spine shape is important for balance and they need very strong legs to hold up such a body
