Wow! This is my favorite rendition of Robin's costume. What kind of fabric did you use, and where did you get the mask, boots, and gloves?
I want to be Robin for Halloween, and I'd never sewn clothes before, but I thought it'd be a lot of fun. I hope you can give me some tips!

The green bodysuit is made of Cotton Lycra
the Red tunic is 4 way stretch Ribbed Red lycra (I have not been able to find this fabric since 05)
Mask I sculpted and cast.
Boots are Ninja Tabi boots from Japan.
The gloves were a lucky find on ebay.
if you need any more help, let me know.
What size are you? I have a few extra new items. Bodysuit, gloves and boots. I can even make the capes

I bought some fabric that are cotton lycra and some polycotton interlock.
I'm figuring out how the best way to create the shirt. Some say you can trace an old tshirt that alreay fits or buy a pattern for a more custom look. I'll most likely go with the tracing. I'll do the top and then the leggings kinda like the Teen Titans Robin.
I found a yellow utility belt online that should go well with the darker red and green fabric I have. I saw tabi boots online and will purchase soon. The mask, I'm thinking paper mache and putting a layer of paperclay on it for a smoother surface before painting. What did you use to hold the mask in place? Spirit gum? I love the neck part of your cape, but I would like mine to be shorter, perhaps a little below my bum. LOL. And the gloves...well, I'll need luck with those. Heh.
I'm 5'5, and I like my shirts xsmall or fitted. Wish me luck, and thanks for the help. I'll message you if I need anything else!
